Problem is not all his values are entirely contradictory to the Christian faith (just like John Kerry isn't the devil incarnate either). The really sad part is that too many people vote not for the best candidate (or the lesser of two evils as some would put it in this case) but for the candidate belonging to the party of their preference. The "I'm Republican therefore I vote Republican" mentality has always struck me as retarded. Some candidates don't even share half their party's political ideology (of course, on the podium they do but their record shows very different). These upcoming elections I encourage to vote not Republican or Democrat, vote for the best man.

Welp, that's democracy for you. You have to make a choice. If you don't vote you're making a choice too (i.e. you're helping one candidate and hurting the other) so there's really no way out of it.
