The Totally True and Amazing Adventures of the Thundercats!!

*ROAR!!*

This evening an intrepid band of treasure map seekers set out to find their riches in the tucked-away corners of our little Paradise affectionately known as the World of Dreams. Included in this stalwart group were Strade Silverbow, Kasia Stydoran, Augur Wildwood, Ssin D'Streea, Angus D'Streea, Kyven, Bronwyn and yours truly, Covenant Atei.

We began our quest for phat lewt in front of the Britain Bank. After buffing, we headed over to Bald Head Island where we were to dig up a Pirate's treasure (aye matey!). We assigned one mage to cover each tank for healing and buffing, and this system worked very well indeed. :D

The island, normally devoid of life, was teeming with many various pirates, but our group of 4 Warriors and 4 Mages quickly dispatched these hapless foes and Strade dug up the rotting, wooden chest. When he popped the creaky, broken lock out of its moldy hold, the area was quickly filled with Pirate ghosts! They proved to be little challenge for our brave adventurers and they were soon sent back to the 7th circle of hell from whence they sprang! (This chest yielded regs, a bed deed, an oven deed, a fireplace deed and 2 magics, along with 10,000 shiny gold pieces! :D )

Kasia, our resident "mama Carto" took over and we gated to such faraway places as the swamps of Trinsic, Little Buc's Island, Marble Island, the area near Wrong, the southern coast of Trinsic, the Minoc Mines--well, pretty much everywhere. All in all we dug up a lot of buried treasure, no one died, and we came back with a couple of decent magics and nearly 84,000 shiny gold pieces, along with a bunch of deco items. :D

First, many thanks to the Seers for dropping these special chests off for various, random people to find. They are usually quite challenging and always a lot of fun, and they are very much appreciated!

Second, this is where the title of the tale came from: while traveling along the swamps along the southern coast of Trinsic, Kasia was attacked by a leopard! She fought it off, and soon after Angus commented on the Thunder Cats. Well, ever since then the theme song of that great cartoon has been stuck in my head. I was hoping writing this would get rid of it, but...

Thunder!

Thunder!

Thunder!

Thunder-Cats, ho!!
