Private messages not working?

When I try to send private messages, the screen sits and waits FOREVER and then doesn't go through. Am I doing something wrong?

Yep, sure did. I've also received them from Augur recently. However, when I try to send a PM I get the EXTENDED wait. The system just spins, it seems.
