Kale no offense meant, but as much as I value your oppinion. I think that maybe they were just voicing what there oppinion was on the subject. Also I am not saying that our administration is not doing a good job. What I would like to say is how could It hurt to have another seer?

I never said anything against having another seer even one from another time zone, personally I think it would make quite a few more people happy. All I was saying is that if Drocket and the seers/gms want another seer from another time zone, they will be the ones who decide that. They have already heard our opinions on the matter quite a few times before.

Marius The Seer....*wavey lines as a image begins to appear in my mind* Droves of undead roaming through brit, some of the best known heros dead and raised as knights of undeath to serve their master Marius, those who are alive, hidding in Minoc in the caves, allied with the last remaining pocket of Trolls, relying on each other for survival, darkness solid, no sign of Dawn ever again....*wavey lines again* hmmm....

Yeah...riiiiggghhhhtt.....NO!

Kale you are right, I guess we are all beating a dead horse, but if that horse was so dead. Why does it continue to raise its head every so often?

Because people can't accept that when the REAL person in charge says no, it means no.

Naw, the flames bind us together.

For example, Simon, yer ugly and yer mama wears army boots.

See? Don't you want to talk with me more now? How could either of us leave with all this unexpressed conversation between us?

Kale, I understand that. I also see that you and I have the same oppinion on this matter. That it couldn't hurt to have another seer. You and I are not demanding. We are stating our oppinions and feelings on a certain subject. Now wether our admin. feels it waranted that another seer is needed. You are absolutely right, they will and do have the final say so in the matter. If I have given you the impression that I am not happy with the current rate of quests or anything else that they do I am sorry. I think that it is good to ask if something may be possible because if you never ask you will never get a no. I understand that this has been asked before, or if memory serves me right it was demanded. Also I remember that the demand/question was shot down by our admin. I was just looking at the fact that if there was another seer on WoD it would mean more fun for all of us to praticipate in. Even For those who are in a differnt time zone. They would be able to join in what I think is the second best thing about WoD, and that is second only to the great people we have on this shard.

Bayn, flame baiting deducts from the overall point of the post at hand. Some of the people who still play here would like to see some more quests, or in this case see a seer run quest.

Since a seer run quest is just like a group hunt, it is sensible for one to hunt with a group, that in and of its self is great fun. It also is a chance to make new friends. Then when a seer quest happens those new friends will PM you to join them. The game is a lot better when you set out to make new friends, hunt in new places, try new things, or just plain adventure.

Simon, I wasn't talking about seers and quests and all that stuff, I was talking about the positive relevance of flaming.

Getting somewhat back to the original theme of the thread...

The best way to encourage more quest activity, and possibly even more seers being brought in, is probably by showing a strong support for quest activities in the form of deatiled stories on the quest board, and ingame quest participation centered around the storyline and working as a group facing a common foe.

While I hanvn't been involved in a lot of questing of late, but back when I was it seemed there was a growing trend toward them being treated as a chance to solo hunt for loot, or a bunch of people running around trying to get the quest over with as soon as possible. Those sorts of things just have to be discouraging for the people who spend so much time putting these special events togeather.

For those who are intrested a formal writeup of the old informal questing guidelines can be found here:
