HEHE I prefer Mandrake for it's ultra ease of setup.
But there all good.
And was glad to hear that the open source community is alredy planning there stratagy to make Linux compatable with the next release of Windows (not due for a year or two).
Now if more hardware vendors would start writing drivers for Linux then all would be good.
Can't put any distro on the box I'm using now. All sound drivers i have found don't work right and the video drivers are still under development.
If I had the money both could/would be fixed by buying a sound card and a new vid card. Rather than using the on-board sound/vid.
Oh and the main board I'm using is the Asus A7V8X-MX with 512MB mem (64 shared with vid), on board audio (Soundmax Integrated), On board vid by VIA/S3 KM400 Unichrome Integrated, and onboard nic (via). Linux already handels the nic just fine. If anyone cares to go look for drivers and let me know where to find them. I would be most grateful.
I did find a semi usable (looks like) vid driver on Sourceforge. Still reding docs on what needs to be done to make it work.
