Since lost love seems to be the general theme I thought I would try one.

Fleeting memories passing
Across the mind and heart,
Through the daylight hours
Of a love found and lost.

Seeking relief in the twilight hours,
Trying to find solace and a safe harbor
Only to find that there is no rest to be had

The heart being torn assunder,
Hundred pieces tossed in the wind
Floating away on that gentle breeze,
Bringing an icy breeze to where once
there was warmth and sunshine.

Now all that is left is a desolate ,
frozen wasteland of where love once played
in green meadows amoung fields of flowers.
