Crenshaw makes an appearance

Postby Lyl on Sun May 18, 2003 5:25 am

The Branubians invaded another (but probably not the last) town late Thursday night. Many lives were lost on both sides, but eventually nothing was left moving in Skara Brae.
Yes, unfortunatly Ariadne killed many of the civilians she was supposed to be saving. Some people just like killing I guess. =(
Whispers: she is evil I tell you

After the battle the Lissarians met in the bank as usual to divide the loot and discuss the Shabooli war situation. Some intriguing notes had been found. One said approximately: "I cant wait till the invasions are over, then the real fun will begin!"

Another note said to prepare for the arrival of the Branubian commander named.. erm, what was it.. really need the notes to make these posts... uh... I'm too young to lose my memory... hmm...

Anyway the note was signed by Crenshaw. But before anyone could wonder who Crenshaw was a hauty laughter was heard coming from outside the bank. As people looked around in confusion a voice came down from the roof of the bank. "How many lives must you lose you foolish Britanians?" It was Crenshaw himself!

Taunts were exchanged on both sides as the opposing sides sized each other up. Crenshaw, who wore the immaculate green armor of a battle worn hero, is the Vice Commander of the Branubians. He threatened to invade the very streets of Britain. But rather than fighting then and there he simply promised that we would meet him again and, disappearing, escaped. When we do face off I'm sure he wont be alone.

Also making an appearance were the Branubuan beasts and their masters. Thesse beasts had incredible melee skill, but we were able to gang up on them and bring them down.

I tried come up with a list of the adventurers who helped, but the list seemed shorter than our actual numbers. Rather than miss recording some individuals I will not post any at all. Sorry about that, but please chime in if you remember some of people who were there.
