Anyone else ever read this series? Its what I was reading (rereading) before Song of Susannah was released. Its a mystery series that stars 2 cats, one of whom is psychic. The series has been going on just about forever now - there's probably a good 20 books, maybe more.

I used to be a big fan of the series, until the author killed off a character I was extremely fond of, and really didn't even do it in a way that was satisfactory. That kind of killed it for me, so I stopped reading them years ago. I decided to get back into the series, starting from the beginning, and read all the ones that I've missed. I got through the first 10 (which happens to be the one that put me off) before getting distracted. Guess I'll see if they're worth continuing on with...

I read most of the series but got kind of bored of them after a while. It basically had the same format all the time.
