A little help?

Postby Celeste Kendreyl on Sun Mar 07, 2004 6:21 am

I'm not sure if this is the right board... and if not, I appologize... but I've searched the site and I can't seem to find anywhere there's a listing of 1.) the .dot commands used here.
2.) any listing of skills and their effects, etc.
3.) any special abilities for different classes, etc.

Any help here would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Cel

Ah, is this a different site than the one the link on the top of the page sends you to? Because I can't get the link on the homepage to work... keeps giving me the old "404"... but if all the info I asked about is in the manual section, I kinda feel a little silly for posting about it... hehe "Duh Cel, rtfm, ya typical blonde!" LOL
Thanks though hon, I'll check it out.

Ok, now, I KNOW I'm blonde, but... I got to the manual site... and when I click to view ANYTHING, I get -*"We're sorry, you cannot view this page because it requires the Microsoft Java Virtual Machine (MSJVM). Your machine does not have the MSJVM installed. For more information please visit http://www.microsoft.com/java."*- and when I click THAT link, it sends me to some site where there is NO link to DOWNLOAD this MSJVM thingie... help?

Actually this is a better link http://java.com/en/index.jsp Click the yellow GetItNow button in the big green box up in the right hand corner of the screen. That will go to an automated download I think. Just follow the directions to download.
I use linux not windows so it tells me to download a linux version.

The Sun Java VM you'll be getting is what you need. They are the same thing basically.

*makes long story short* Microsoft basically stole java from Sun Microsystems and tried to then make a microsoft version that only was compatible with windows programs. That's what microsoft does best lol. Anyway microsoft had to stop distributing "their" version of it.

Sa-WEET! Thank you Raiden, that did the trick! Downloading now, and it's not gonna take me 4 days to complete on this dial-up connection I'm still using while I await my DSL service to take effect. THANK you so much hon! Hoe to see you in game sometime!
