Whilst scribing in the Brit Bank last eve, Harmony Wolfsong, Chanelle, Eleni Luxor and I (Aellius Atei) were visited by King of the Dailga, Zundra Khan. He arrived astride a Dailga Warhorse (a fiery red beast) and he was clad in simple red studded and leather armor.
He said he came to see where the "city dwellers spend their time." He told us we should be riding horses and fighting. "That's how the Dailga live!" he said, then added, "except when we're drinking of course."
We offered refreshments but he declined; instead, he handed us bottles of Dailga Liquor. Thinking it would be rude to not try it, I took a swallow. It was the most potent brew I have ever had (sorry Grandpa Ranar).
Zundra Khan continued: "We travel where we wish, take what we need, fight with whom we choose. So long have we been nomads we don't even know where we started from. When you see us ride you'll know none are like the Dailga. Just stay out of our way and you'll do fine. Now I need to be back on my horse where a real man belongs." With that he left.
A short time later Harmony and I spotted a Dailga Clan Leader. His horse was so fast and he was such a skilled rider that he was literally doing circles around Uria, the Order Guard. Harmony and I agreed that we would be no match for this Clan Leader, so I contacted my brother Covenant and he got his brother Rhythm.

When Aellius contacted me I was sleeping at our home in Brit, so I dressed quickly and headed for the Bank. Rhythm was already there. We prepared and headed out, but didn't get even a sniff of this Dailga.
Finally, I told Rhythm we had to split up, and we did. I headed East, he headed West. A short time later he contacted me that he had spotted the Dailga near the Inn. I headed that way in all haste.
Rhythm and his henchies had already engaged the Clan Leader when I arrived. (Unfortunately I was too late to save the townsperson, Marek, that this foul creature slaughtered for no apparent reason.)
I immediately healed Rhythm and then attacked the Clan Leader with e-bolts. He fell a short time later, then his warhorse attacked. Perhaps it was my imagination, but I swear that the horse was tougher than the rider. Eventually it too was dead.
Uria rode up and asked if the Clan Leader was dead. We told him it was and that all was well. The Order Guard said he had to get back to his post and headed back to the Castle. Rhythm and I went back to the Bank to discuss the evenings' events.
Have we a new enemy to deal with, my fellow citizens? Zundra Khan, the King, seemed a pleasant enough fellow, but this Clan Leader murdered one of our people without provocation and for his own evil purposes.
With the death of Haraseem, I felt that things might settle down for a bit. I guess I was mistaken.
