Anyway, I've rambled enough for my intoxicated self. WoD's history must be maintained even if it's the vague recollections from those of us still here.

Herakles
Joram Lionheart wrote:You know, what I would like? for someone to retell the story of the Serpent's Hold garrison, and its formation at the Queen's request (first and only town ever in history to receive a founding charter from the Queen herself). Sir Mithril Moorbane of the Order Guards was named the garrison's captain (and mayor of the town too I suppose), and for months the defenders of Serpent's Hold battled the invading pirate forces from Buccaneer's den. Unfortunately, I was not present when the town was first formed, but I do remember when the invasion was officially over. For a while, Serpent's Hold was the hottest hunting spot in the world, visited even more than Buccaneer's den
I'm very fuzzy on the details, though. I could ask Mithril himself (if I can manage to find his e-mail address . . .)
Homer wrote:Wow! This is neat set of remembrances. Tamla- very nice to hear from you after a long time. I have shared most of my old-time memories in various story posts in the writings archive. One gem some of you may not remember, though...
As you recall, the rebellion was based around the upstarts who were to be knighted by the Queen for their service on a quest. Many folks know that Homer opposed both the knighting and the rebellion, but who remembers the names of the knights-who-never-were? I don't know many of them, but I do know one. It might have been cool, actually.
Sir... Smudge!
