Unhappy Bliss? *on oxymoron* hehe

Postby Tristan Gryphon on Mon Sep 06, 2004 11:13 pm

This news could hardly have come at a more inappropriate time.

For those of you who may not already know, Bronwyn and I have had an absolutely wonderful relationship for about a year and a half now.

The most awesome thing happened just a little while back. She actually, finally said yes to my invitation "begging" to marriage. We were to be married in the not too distant future.

The shard closing is really gonna put a tough spin on us getting married. hehe

*sigh*

Oh well

Bron, M'Love. We will meet again on another shard.

And we can continue the wonderful relationship we have started.

I'm not going to post my feelings on the shard closing just yet. But I will.

Take care

and take care of each other

~Tristan Gryphon~

Tristan sweets,

I Give To You
A fire to light inside your heart,
to feel the warm embers glow.
A piece of the sun's warm rays,
to bask in it's fiery show.

I Give To You
A summer's breeze to caress your face,
to show that someone cares.
The sweet song of the nightingale,
to remind you that I am always there.

I Give to you
My lasting friendship, always true.
A gift of love to hold inside,
whenever you feel blue,
or just because you need a friend.

This friend...that will always be there for you!

Nia and I were married on our own in what we Pagans call a Handfasting Ceremony.

There is no reason the two of you can't be married by Friday, even if the good Bishop isn't there to perform the ceremony. Please consider this.

Personally, I think that a marriage would be a great way to end WoD's run. A new life together begins as individual lives alone end. In much the same way, all of us--the players, the staff, everyone, will continue even after WoD's demise.

The romantic in me thinks you need to do this. :D

Tomorrow night sounds great for me.

I do have a couple of requests.

First, it will have to be after 9:00 CDT *I have to put my daughter to bed*

Second, I would like to have it on the bridge in Ice Dungeon. It is a long story, but that spot is a very special spot for Bron and I. If we can have it there, I would need some help from the GM's - could we turn off the spawner in Ice? It would be a little annoying if we had to keep stopping to kill and Ice Troll, or a snow orc. hehe

Thank you all for your support in this issue.

Oh, and by the way, I do like Atei's idea to make it one of the last events on Friday, but due to my work schedule, I wouldn't be able to be on the server until after the scheduled time for WoD's official closing. So Thursday will be the last time I would be able to get on.

Me and Strell went to Ice and stood on the bridge. Siobahn joined us and im afraid the news isnt good. The bridge is not the perfect place for this...the peripheral is all wrong...you have to be on the bridge to see anything. Siobahn even tried to put benches in the water....still couldnt see unless you are on top of it almost...let me know what to do.

Ok, you can get with Bron to see how she feels, but my second choice would be the little park in Magincia west of the bank.

If not there, I know Bron isn't fond of the idea, but I think it would be neat to get married in the throne room of Queen Lissar's castle.

I wish for the two of you a night to remember, I wish I could be there but alas I most work. I send my blessings to whom I consider my friends and family.
