Adria wrote:Hehe, well, I cant say ive heard of the book, or the author for that matter. Although I do like fantasy, sci-fi, D&D etc. What Genre does it come under?
(Btw thanks for the clarification)

go immediately to the library and look in the SF section for Stranger in a Strange Land. one of the great classics of SF. Mr Heinlein was rather prolific and just about anything he wrote was worth reading. I liked the later books especially as they intertwined more and more as things went along.

His books are worth the trip. some of them take more than one go though. i haul stranger in a strange land and starship troopers out every year or two. always seem to pick up something new from them. the book has virtually nothing in common with that horrid excuse for a movie by the way.

There is one thing worse than starship troopers, and thats starship troopers 2. I thought I would give it a go, see if they had improved at all. Never thought it would have gotten so incredibly worse. Would I be able to order them online from somewhere? (Preferably a shop based in the UK). I prefer to get books for keeps, although there seems to be a book in every nook and corner in the house hehe, I will eventually make a library room

I must say, the waiting is a killer. Kinda like a first date, the anxiety just builds and builds. *crosses fingers and legs* Heres still hoping :D
