Copying Keys

Postby Dargo on Sun Mar 07, 2004 3:06 pm

I tried searching the manual, but I was unsuccessful. Can someone describe the steps to copy a key. I know on OSI it was a skill based on tinkering, but I am curious as how high tinkering needs to be before being able to copy a key etc.

Any help or a point to the right section of the manual would be wonderful!

Thanks,

Dargo

Thanks....I know it was a dumb question, but do you have any idea what your tinkering skill needs to be?

No tinkering skill needed to copy the key. There is a small skill-check to make the blanks, or you can buy them from the provisioner.

It's also nice to name a key if you are a key collector. Just double click the key, then target the same key and you may give it a 20 character name.
