Elish,Atei and myself encountered many of the highwaymen today, and quickly vanquished them.Seems they have decided to lay in hiding near the telepads and moongates for all those travellers that dare to go there.

Perhaps what is needed is a large hunting party(if large enough of a group we could split into 2 or 3 smaller groups)to walk the roads looking for the highwaymen.

If everyone could post what time and day would work best we could try this suggestion :)

I met up with some highwaymen on southern yew roads. It was a big crowd of them, too big for me to take on by myself. Id say about 15-20. Darn those reapers too :|.

I am available between the hours of 6pm-1am AST ( that's 5pm-midnight Eastern time)

I shall go on the hunt for more highwaymen this evening. With the assistance of some of you, we can hopefully keep this threat to a minimum.

while on my way to kill orcs lizardmen and mongbats near the brit swamps i found two locations where they like to hide and surprized unbuffed and innocent people like myself (the big meanies) they are dangerously close to east brit and are near the end of the raod at the swamps. i havent found any notes yet but i have found my share of highwaymen.

i just thought i would post and let people know where to find these problem causers. :)

I'm wondering if "Special Forces" are mages?

Yes.....Marksmen are very tough. I encountered 3 at once at Minoc Mines yesterday while with Randell, we were both brought down. And in a matter of moments.
Be careful out there.

Herakles

Special Thanks goes to Nicholao, Calan, and Zip(Cant remember the correct spelling) for coming out to help us. And Zoso who attempted to come and help us but was downed by the Highwaymen forces at a moongate.

I encountered a couple of them on the dock to Skara Brae, one hiding in East Britain, and a bunch of them on the road just south of Britain. That last group killed one of my henchmen and scared the other one off. When Zoso came to help, it seemed like they wouldn't stop coming. I wasn't able to thank everyone properly last night - lost the group due to the lag monster, then had to log off before I could find everyone.

Thanks to all those who came to my rescue. :D

Young players logging in should be warned to use caution when travelling on roads, just in case they don't check the forum.

Just to warn anyone who hasn't encountered this yet, but the narrow mountain pass on the way from Britain to the Yew/Skara area is filled with Highwaymen from one end of it to the other. I would estimate about 50-75 in total within that small pass.

I barely made it through alive last eve

*Valic*

Found a backpack tonight named "Seafood". This was found on a highwayman mob at one of the moon gates. This did seem odd and I wonder if it belongs to a player. But no other player loot was found and the ,obs appeared to have been undisturbed till I happened to come upon them.
Wonder what this whole thing is about.
