If it were possible for you to take any one thing out of the World of Dreams and bring it to your next shard/game, what would it be.

For me, as silly as it will sound, I have in my house a cake that was made for the occassion of my first real life birthday while on the shard. For whatever reason that gift from a friend took on far more value than the small effort it took to make, and I wish there were a way to take it with me.

For me it would be my friends here.No other shard will ever be the same without all of you.

For me, it is knowing that a virtual society can exist on compassion and friendship rather than adrenaline. Knowing that a stranger could very turn out to be a friend rather than assuming they may be an enemy. Knowing that even though people could bicker on the boards, they would help another to the utmost within game. It is all about the finer parts of being human.

I have so many things..it is hard to select one..but perhaps the bridesmaid dress I wore when standing up with Rod and Ciara when they rededicated their wedding vows. Or perhaps the "rose" Ehran gave me when we first met...and maybe the first million coins our vendor Iris made which Ehran refused to take. It could be the beautiful Aviary in my home which was lovingly stocked with every kind of bird by Siobhan...or the memory of going on rescue after rescue and feeling strong and worthwhile because someone trusted me enough to call on me...

The first set of armor (or mace) Uthr made me, way back when.

Or Nia...

As far as items go, my TrollSlayer sword, my cloak of the night or my special GM Siobhan's chair.

The things i would take if i could..would be all the books that my friends have signed. Their well wishes and sweet affirmations of friendship.

The things i will take with me will be my treasured memories,my experiences and as many friends as i can gather:
Scott, Henna, Bronwyn, Jocilyn, Tristan, Kal, Trakas, Edward Tristan, Galorm, Devlin, Rayne, Azalin, Adria.......

These are just a few i have gathered so far. By no means is my list complete.

At first I thought ... wow what a hard question, than reading some of these posts I found it really wasnt that hard to figure out what I would take. I think I would take (if I could) every single one of you Players Staff Admin and the shard. For like a book no one is alike. For the times here can be compared to no other. What I will take with me and share with others along the way is that I have played the greatest Shard with the greatest friends under the greatest staff to which no other can compare. I had a wonderful time.

Fortunatly we all get the choice of taking our friends and contatcts with us. Hopefully the message board will stay up for a while, or if not, perhaps we can migrate over to the one on http://www.drocket.net. Or even an ezboard one I had set up for another purpose but isn't really being used.

My choice of what I would bring to another shard would absolutely be every single person that I have encountered on the shard. And even those who dont know me. Little do many players know.....even though they dont know me, I in all actuality do know them. I have been around every player in the WoD and on many occassion. That would be because I was Seer Lothar and even though you didnt see me, I was there.
It would have been me when some mob pops up when you know it shouldnt have in the most obscure times.
I have grown to have a great fondness of all the players and staff and I am proud to have been part of this great community.
It is with a very heavy heart that I am saying goodbye to the WoD and all the people in it.
I only hope that I will meet these same players on another shard in the very near future.
The shard isnt closed yet and I am already missing everyone. Hell, I couldnt sleep last night because of this. Makes for a long day at work. hehe

if i could take only one "thing" from WoD it would be Michella. Her faith in my "goodness" and support in general has been unstinting from the first day we met.

i do have one regret and it's a minor one. I always wanted to buy the NuJelm palace and the Queen just wouldn't part with it no matter how much money i offered.

I would also like to know who it was inflicted the giant toads on me that time i was mining clay in the swamp. the frog prince leader scared holy hell out of me. i've never seen anything in wod move that fast before or since. also the dolphin archers, i just have to know how the heck a dolphin pulls a bow. whoever came up with that was just WRONG.
