I've fought mountain trolls plenty of times before, but the ones in Despise last night were the most interesting ones I've ever seen. They were tough I tell ya.

There weren't many online at the time, just me an' Nox for much of it. The two of us overcame some incredible odds. Twas a blast.

Now we all know Mountain Troll Chieftans are tough, These guys last night would kill you in 2 or 3 swift hits if you gave em the chance though. There were Shamans casting Nature's Curse on me. I got hit by a tidal wave trapping my feet in the water. Almost died right there. The mages were something. Whenever I faced off on one I'd be completely drained faster than you can say "no mana."

They were even casting plague and snowstorm on Nox and me. Heheh, that was pretty cool. They musta had bout 200 necromancy to make plague that poisonous yo. Course Nox an me being casting those spells on them as well. There were some dense groups of them that would have been death to walk up to.

A necro and an archer we didn't use the same old tired mage/tank combo tactics. We still worked together though to stay alive. Neither of us died the whole way, and these trolls coulda wiped out a whole phalanx of warriors.

yeah come to think of it i seen a mountain troll marksmen who in 3 hits took me from 105 hp to 30 hp on the 1st lvl of depise

yep it sure was fun and that plague was 10 times worse than nox's .many thx to gandir for making it happen and giving odgen and nox a good run for their money we both enjoyed it. and im sure those trolls were far stronger than the ones out at minoc.but a word of advice to any tanks that find a mountain troll chieftain RUN
