Hello, just found this shard on top 200, but the player base looks awesome. Hope to see all of you soon.

Did not realize, from comments by a friend, that AOL mail was only for paying customers.

AOL is a paid email service. In fact i don't think AOL even has a free email service.

I didn't really explain anything about myself, so here goes. I've been playing UO for most of 6 - 6 1/2 years. I've jumped around shards three times, starting on Catskills. I usually choose to be a blacksmith/miner in game. Reading the forums, most applications are refused originally, hoping I won't be part of this majority of applicants.

Put some effort into it, and you'll be fine. You seem like a good sort. Also, we've just had Special Order Contracts (think Bulk Order Deeds) hit our little shard, so you've come at the *perfect* time for being a blacksmith/miner, if that's the cause you want to take up again. Certainly mining will make you wealthy, if you're keen enough to persue it.

Try to ignore the turmoil in the forums at the moment. We have a couple of agitators that have caused a lot of upset, but I think the storm's dying down now. Another timely reason to be joining.

Still waiting for my email, but in game, my character is also zanzabar. How's the smithing/mining system in general, as in armors or weapons?
