Changes for February 2004

2-26-2004

  • Henchmen have learned now to use fire and frost arrows and bolts
  • You still need to supply them with normal ammo, but if you also give them the special ammo, they'll use it appropriately
  • 'Appropriately' means that if they're fighting a creature that's weak against fire, they'll automatically switch to fire ammo for that fight. Normally, though, they'll use the basic ammo
  • Fixed a minor bug with tamed AI

  • Fixed a bug with the new guard AI that could cause them to get stuck

  • Using .dump on a trash barrel now always removes any items in the barrel and puts them in your backpack (this works even if the trash barrel is locked down)
  • Boat keys are now automatically named "the key to (boatname)" or, if the boat doesn't have a name yet, "a boat key"

  • Entering war mode now causes meditation to break

  • Sandstone ovens can now be placed (as an option when using the existing oven deeds)
