Changes for April 2004
4-30-2004
- Bugfix: All weapons should now be poisonable
- Bugfix: A minor bug in the date calculations that could cause playtime
records to be off by 1 day during a lear year
4-29-2004
- Several bug fixes in the new treasuremap changes
4-28-2004
- Rewrote most of the treasure map system
- WARNING: Treasure maps leading to Buccaneer's Den now function as one level higher
than what they actually are, both for loot and monster spawn. For Ragged maps, this means
an entire new level of loot - and defenders...
- Treasure chests are now sometimes locked, and can even be trapped. Might want to
bring along a locksmith...
- Vials of blood are now correctly named 'vials of blood'
- Training dummies should now be fixed (you may need to re-place yours for it
to work correctly)
4-27-2004
- Forge deeds can now be placed as a large forge (instead of requiring 3 seperate forges)
- Fixed forge, loom and mill deeds so that, when placed, they can be moved with a
decorator's tool (you'll need to re-place your deeds for this to work)
4-25-2004
- Several changes to the reagents consumed by both druid and necro spells. Check your
druid rune bag or Codex Damnorum for specifics
- Casting time for a number of spells has been reduced
- Druid spell Cloak of Protection: The cloak now also absorbs a small amount of fire
and cold damage each time you are hit by a fire or cold spell or effect
- Druid spell Grasping Roots is now more effective (and should be a good deal more
effective after I manage to track down a bug...)
- Finally remembered that its no longer Easter and removed the login message
4-23-2004
- Two new druid spells have been added:
- Enduring Renewal
To make: an ent heartwood, raw ginseng, raw garlic and raw mandrake root
To cast: 3 garlic, 3 ginseng, 1 spidersilk
Effect: Causes all allied players and NPCs near the caster to regenerate health for
a (short) period of time ('allied' means that if its cast by a player or good NPC, it
affects all players and good NPCs, but if cast by an evil NPC, it only affects evil NPCs.)
Range, duration and the amount healed per tick are all determined by your animallore skill.
Who is affected is determined by who is in the area when the spell is cast (so you don't have
to stay in the area to keep the effect, and anyone entering the area doesn't aquire the effect.)
- Gaea's Fury
To make: Reaper heartwood, 10 black pearl, a star sapphire and raw nightshade
To cast: vial of blood, 2 black pearl, mandrake root, and spidersilk
Effect: Infuses the caster's druidstaff with the power of lightning. The chances to
hit are increased (dependant on animallore) and successful strikes sometimes call
down lightning on the struck foe.
4-18-2004
- Fixed a serious bug in 'sell bag'
4-14-2004
- Upgraded henchman status window. Having the window open no longer hangs up the
henchman's AI (though the window does not update on the fly) Also added a death counter
- Reduced the henchman's virtue loss through death
4-1-2004
- Upgraded the WoD forums to phpBB 2.0.8
