Upon entering this new world, I began exploring the capitol city of Britain. At every turn, I was beset by helpful citizens welcoming me to the world and offering to assist me as I began my journey. I wandered to the local bank, and began to browse through a pile of items left by charitable citizens to help them equip themselves. Once satisfactorily equipped, I began to explore the wilderness north of the city.
As I was walking through the forest, a large creature that had the appearance of a rat and walked like a man jumped from the shadows and began to attack me. I quickly drew my weapon and began to fight back. If it weren't for the healing elixirs that appeared in my pack at the beginning of my adventure, I would most certainly been killed and robbed by this vile creature. This rat man was far stronger than those I had encountered in the other lands I had explored.
Once the creature had been destroyed and any values he carried had been gathered, I continued deeper into the woods. Before I knew it, I was being set upon by a lizard man, rabid dog, and a feral cat. After barely escaping with my life, I decided that I needed more training before venturing into the wilds.
I returned to Britain, and was assisted by a more knowledgeable player. This kind person equipped me with superior armor, and then proceeded to instruct me in how to gain employment within the city. I began delivering packages for the various merchants around town and crafting items. At one point, I was asked to deliver a package to a merchant in Vesper. Not being familiar with this land, I readily accepted, thinking that the reward for completion of this task would be far better than local deliveries..
I chose to travel to Ocllo by moongate, so I proceeded to the gate outside of Britain. As I appeared at the next destination, I was attacked by a group of men I was not familiar with. I believe they called themselves "Pratorians." Knowing I was no match for these men, I immediately jumped back through the magical gate. I then jumped through the gate again, and continued to do so until I reached my destination. I was unaware that a Praetorian had followed me through the gate...
As I was completing my task and travelling back through the gates to Britain, I was approached by two warriors on horseback. They warned me that Praetorians had followed me through the gate, and were stirring up trouble in Skara Brae. I assured them that my actions were unintentional, and told them that I would not allow it to happen again.
My next task was to deliver a package to a merchant in Ocllo. I accepted the task, forgetting that Ocllo was an island city, and I would not be able to reach the city by using the magic gates. While attempting to use moongates again, I was set upon by the same band of Praetorians which had attacked me previously. Rather than endanger the lives of others by being followed through the moongate, I allowed myself to be killed. Once I had been defeated, I began the journey back to Britain to be tended by a healer. On my way there, I was contacted by the same warriors who had approached me earlier. They offered their assistance in recovering my supplies, and I gladly accepted. Upon arriving at the scene of my death, I found the two warriors standing near my remains, with the corpses of many Praetorians strewn around the clearing. After recovering my supplies, as well as the belongings of the Praetorians, the valiant warriors offered to transport me back to Britain. I thanked them, and returned to the city.
After completing my task with the assistance of some helpful mages, I decided I had had enough adventuring for the day, and returned to the inn to rest.
