can't login

I crash each time I try to login, the client just hangs for a moment and then stops responding and closes. Any idea on how to fix this? I would like to come back and play this again, have a hankering

Have you tried going to the client properties by right clicking the icon and putting it in compatibility mode for windows xp?

I have tried this and it dosn't seem to work, going to try a fresh install soon and see if that works.
