I have noticed a few things that dont make sense to me.

1. The hardest spell according to the wiki is sylvan guardian it takes 100 animal lore. Snow storm takes 88. This means at 120 skill i should be able ot flawlessly cast sylvan guardian and at 108 i should be able to flawlessly cast. Yet at 120 animal lore I still fail casting snow storm and natures blessing?

2. If animal lore takes the place for invocation for buff spells, why at 120 lore or for this case 120 invo am i only getting +16 buffs?

Animal Lore...? Please check the table header!!
