Bad Lag

Not sure if its just me or if its everyone, but since last night when i got on till this morning i have been getting realy bad lag / lag spikes. To the point it almost killed me a few times from easily escapable enemies like trolls and ophidians. Until this lags clears up i will proly just craft, so its not a big deal, just wondering if any one else is having it. And if you are a be careful because when large mobs are around it gets very laggy and hard to escape.

I will also be interested to know if anyone else is experiencing this.

I haven't noticed anything on my end and nothing seems to be going on with my ISP in my area either. I have the server running on the highest speed connection available in my area, which has been working great so far, but it is still a commercial internet connection (versus a dedicated/business one).

I am currently running 4.5 down and 1 up. So that should be sufficient speed to connect without lag, but ill try it again here soon and see if its any better.

Yeah, tried again today, still not working right, it seems to only happen when i get around NPCs. I can be running through the woods just fine but as soon as i get around any monsters or animals it happens.

Have you tried checking with ping plotter or tracert? Sometimes the route from your client to the server is not so good. Everyone's route is different so we will all have different results. It's fine for me. I went to the snow orc fort, made them chase me around, and everything was normal.

I have not tried ping plotter or anything else, just speedtest.net i only got a ping of 5ms. Ill try ping plotter and see what happens.

Well it seems to have worked itself out. Not sure what happened but everything seems better now.
