You can copy and paste the text below into your macros.txt file. There are 2 of them, one in the directory where you installed UO, and one in a {UO Install}\Desktop\{UserName}\World of Dreams\{CharacterName}\macros.txt

Not sure what's wrong, I am running windows 7 64 bit, patched up Mondains Legacy, WoD files dumped in the UO directory and WoD client. I get to the log in screen and put in my info and it tells me client stopped every time.
Is it the 64 nit that is an issue?

Try running the wodclient.exe file in Windows XP SP3 compatibility mode. (Right click the file, choose properties..)

Ok, I ran the regular UO OSI client and it works fine I did't log in though because it could not authenticate my account as there is not one anymore lol. But it didn't fail. Lars (former player also attempting to get in) loaded it and has the same issues. The WoD client stops working for whatever reason. What are we doing wrong lol.

Are you sure you have the wodli.cfg file in your UO directory? I had your original problem until I placed that file in there.

IIRC you can specify a size in the uo.cfg. if not I'll dig around and see what I can come up with.

when i go to run UO it changes the resolution to 640 x 480 which looks funny as hell on a 23" monitor.

then it fails and tells me i need to change the colour to 16 bit. dunno whats going on as i've set the colour to 16 bit both on the display and the vid card.

open to suggestions on what incredibly simple thing i'm not getting done right.
