Tinkering multiple stackable items

Post by Thomas Duklain » Mon Dec 31, 2012 1:55 pm

Last night I made some obsidian. I set the 'How Many' box to 133 and started to produce. The obsidian went into the crafting bag but didn't stack. It just kept dropping in 1 obsidian so I had to manual stack them all.

Everything else in the procedure worked just the stacking didn't.

Okay, it's fixed. I was setting a property called "material_objtype" to all crafted items, so I could later implement a way to resmelt/recycle old metal, wood and leather items. This was messing up with item stacking. I made it so stackable items don't save that.

You won't be able to stack the leftover obsidian with any new obsidian you create, but I can fix the obsidian you already made, either if you leave it in my mailbox in Britain, just south of the inn, or if you ask me while I am on.
