Couple Things

Post by Kale Greeneye » Thu Nov 24, 2011 4:45 am

Just curious why magic clothing doesn't spawn in treasure chest loot? Is it because of how available treasure maps are?

Also, I noticed that i'm gaining "Some" virtue every time I die. I don't think that is how it is supposed to be :)

Also, when moving a virtue title towards the negative, that counter in .status keeps thinking your moving towards the positive. Is there any way to make it once your in the negative side to count the other way?

I had one other thing too that I wanted to ask about but I forget what it is so ill post it here once I remember!

Thank you

The reason is because in the chest lootgroup, there are no clothing entries defined. Why is that? I have no idea, but it can be added.

As for gaining virtue upon death, that's an indicator. If you lose virtue, it means you entered the loop of Skill Loss. You can only enter said loop once an hour.

About the virtue titles and .status, it's fine even if you are on the negatives, because the indicator is for the NEXT VIRTUE title. Negative is Unvirtue. If we are talking about Virtue, then technically it stays correct even with negative virtue

Would love to get magic clothing in treasure loot, but only if it is a bug type thing like you say and not intentional :)

Ahh so if I died twice in an hour, the second time would show a loss in virtue? Still seems weird to be gaining any at all when I die.

True enough, I guess I can just read it backwards, so when it says "just getting started" it means im just about to drop to the next negative title.

I remembered one other thing. So since there are so many readily availible decor items such as potted plants, tables, bottles of booze, trophies and whatnot, would a way to either hand them in to benson for 1 point each, or hand them in at the adventurers guild for 1 ticket each or something along those lines be easy to implement? It would erase a lot of useless items from existence and benefit players but only minutely.
Or have benson work an entirely different system with them such as still having them be worth 1 point but since it would be weird to trade in non-magic for magic have them be a seperate count and once you reach certain amounts you could purchase different unique treasures. Similar to the adventurers guild but have things like deeded decor and rare decor as products to buy. So like a piano would be worth like 500 points or something.

Thoughts?

I have a script that gives you gold coins for everything you throw into the trash. It gives different amounts of gold depending on the item type. Probably not what you are looking for, but we could see, would need to discuss this for game balance and such.
