Hunt tonight

Postby Joram Lionheart on Sun May 16, 2004 6:57 pm

Please don't forget we're having a newbie hunt tonight at 8:30pm EST (I'm going to be running a bit late). Please let your [young] friends know they're invited to come. We'll be meeting in front of the bank. Please do not bring large pets or henchmen, and come prepare to share resources with the less experienced members of the group. I'll be bringing everything but extra regs (since I'm not a mage) so if someone could bring a few extra regs for newbie magi it'd be appreciated.

Hope to see you all there.

Jasper will be there. I could play as Palladio instead, if you want a Virtue Guard along.

I grieve that I will not be able to join such an illustrious group tonight. I hope someone takes screenshots and posts info if it turns out exciting!

Fare thee well.

There was no hunt. Joram and I were on at the appointed time, but there was no large gathering at the Bank.

Unfortunately, there was only one [young] player online, and another untagged one who was quite busy doing something else. A few people (about 4) did show up at the bank at the right time but none that could be considered inexperienced newbies. After talking it over with Atei, I decided to postpone the hunt until a time when attendance was better. Sadly, most people who expressed their enthusiasm for this event chose not to participate in it.

trying to organize anything here is like herding cats at best. greatly amusing for bystanders but not a very productive way to spend your time it seems.

You are welcome to join me anytime. But the hunt was for everyone and geared to help new players out. I wasnt able to make it due to rl committments but hopefully next time I'll be there.
