Ambushed in Occlo

*Covenant Atei*
My lovely wife Sholeh ( ) and I were out running errands for the Queen's Guards last evening when we were attacked outside the Occlo Bank.
A blue-skinned Shabooli, carrying a spear and wearing a leather skirt, jumped out of hiding as we stepped from the gate. He attacked Sholeh, but my wife easily fended off the blows. She counter-attacked effortlessly, parrying the slow, poorly-timed hits with her shield and returning much harder than she was getting. In short order the Shabooli lay crumpled at her feet, bleeding profusely.
I literally didn't have time to speak a spell before the invader was dead.
She quickly began concentrating on finding more of the savages and through the use of her tracking skill, she located their cluster to the south of the Bank. Included were several assassins, archers, warlocks and witchdoctors, and since Shabooli love to hide, we moved around cautiously, throwing greater explosion potions ahead of us to make sure the way was clear (and to get their attention ).
We located and killed all we could find, but unfortuantely no notes were recovered. We then decided to check some other banks and surrounding areas. We traveled by gate first to Skara Brae, then to Yew, finally to Vesper. From Vesper we walked up to Minoc, and then back from Minoc to the Vesper Graveyard. We did have to deal with a few undead blood-suckers (vampires, not lawyers), but no more Shabooli. We finally gave up the search and went to Deceit instead.
