Ive played my Char for quite a while now, but decided to change her skill set around. Her new skill set gives her more dex and str , which is a good thing. The problem is....I cant get her str and dex to raise now. I've done guard quests, I done vendor quests, I've hunting and bashed and ran around aimlessly. Is there some code that makes it harder for an old char to raise stats?

I changed specs on a couple of players and noticed the same thing.No amount of questing seemed to raise them,they just randomly raised on their own.

I thought that quests stopped raising stats at 75 and got harder to raise the closer to 75.

I dunno. My chars aren't all that old but it seems to take "forever" for Kayn to gain stats since he switched to a fencer from a mage. Still, lots of vendor quests and guard quests seem to help. One shard I was on in the past had a special stone that you could pay to change stats. You had to be careful to balance what you changed.

Yup, I switched Saryon's specs about four months ago and his stats are pretty much the same. I was starting to wonder if my character was bugged until his dex went up by one point the other day (I think it's 60something right now, capped at 83). His str, though (currently 97, capped at 110), has not increased at all since I switched skills.

i changed my specs on joka and he gained like 5 str and about 8 or 9 dex and it all went up in a day

I have not supporting evidence for the following, only what I've experienced. I've made little tweeks to Adroi that caused me to notice certain things.

At first it seemed that all skill would follow each one up until one reach a max now my str and dex are following each one up ( never more then 2-3 points different ).

When I tweaked a secondary skill causing my int cap to rise, int was the only thing to rise, until it hit its next cap.

I did as the manual suggest slow down in gaining stats near 75 for str/dex. No longer does questing work for that.

If you experience something similar I think your strength might raise only 1-2 points or not at all until your dex hits 83.
