If no one else stands up for the Druid position, I will respec to put Lore in a secondary position and run. Just waiting to see if any of our existing Druids are interested first.

Not sure if the post of Treasurer will be voted on as well (or chosen by the Council Leaders?), but I will put myself up for that spot.
Not that it matters for Treasurer, but my skillset is:
Primaries: Magery, Invocation, Healing
Secondaries: Camping, Magic Resist, Meditation

Man.. I'm such a twit. I remember thinking that I need to second Tre. And actually thought I did it. Thank you Xelio for doing it.

Drocket explained to me that having the voting on the boards, by polling, would be VERY complicated. He also couldn't guarantee that ONLY upstarts voted.
So, instead of doing the voting on the boards, I have come up with an alternative idea: we each buy a blank book from the Mage Shop (either 5 or 10 gp each) and write in our choice for each position. We then drop the book into the Donations Box. As long as you don't own the book or write your name in it, it stays private. What does everyone think?

That sounds like an excellent idea, Mhoram. Lets do it that way for confidentiality. Each book should contain 4 choices: mages, necros, druids, treasurer.

Agreed. Two questions...
When is the deadline for the voting? and...
Who should do the tallying?
If you elect me to do the tallying, I'd gladly consider gifts of powerful magics items to help you win your seat on the Council.

The deadline for voting is two weeks from tonight, so please spread the word! All Upstarts are invited and encouraged to vote, but only once each please. I will be posting the nominees in each category in a separate thread later this evening.
Also, let's move the donation box behind the gates or use a different box behind the gates for the voting (to ensure that ONLY Upstarts are voting).
Finally, I think Tre en is a perfect choice to tally the voting, but since I don't have any higher level magics, I guess I won't be winning.
