New install of pol 095 and WOD scripts

Postby Kranisar on Thu Sep 11, 2003 6:14 am

a)missing servers.cfg
b)Thread exception: Unable to open listen port 2593

What should servers.cfg look like?
Is Thread exception a problem?

servers.cfg goes in the /config directory, and looks something like this:

GameServer
{
Name Local server
IP 127.0.0.1
Port 2593
}

Replace the 127.0.0.1 with your IP address (if appropriate. If you're logging in from the same computer that you're running UO on, you can leave it alone. 127.0.0.1 is kind of a computerese way of saying 'me') and 'Local Server' with whatever you want the name of your server to show up as on the server selection screen.

I have a friend who is an Admin on another shard, she told me who is now telling you, you would not believe the kinda stuff that staff has to put up with, but from the few months I've been playing here this group seems to be pretty decent (if not downright awesome) :D

If it's only a headache, then it's a good day. When it turns into a migrain and you find yourself beating your head against the wall, then it's a normal day. :wink:

Peace Out.
