Into the Darkness

Postby Marius the Black on Mon Apr 14, 2003 2:15 am

"The time is right to walk the dark road. What horrors might I come across when journeying into the Great Beyond, I do not know, but I shall return with the knowledge and power neccessary to begin a new brotherhood of Necromancers, so that they might rise unquestioned and unopposed into the politics of Britannia, a force indeed, one that to which death is not feared, but embraced."

(That was my in-character justification for;)

I have a family crisis at the moment. Because of this I have to leave for a month, and go down to Sydney, and stay with my father. I'm putting this post up in hopes that my account won't be deleted, and that my dreams of a library don't fade away. I apologise for the recent appearance of myself, and just-as-quick departure. I really enjoy playing here in WoD, and I hope someone in Admin makes sure Marius the Black doesn't disappear entirely. :D

Thankyou to all my good friends who I've met, you're all wonderful. Kasia, Aellius, Greywolfe, Occulis, Siobhan :), Seon, Anwa ... everyone! Don't forget me, and before you know it, I'll be back, with a hundred new ideas and twice as much drive to see them get done.

Well, I'll be around for a little bit tonight, then it's off to Sydney to help out my poor dad! :)

It's a shame life isn't like WoD, where you can res people.

Anyway, post lots of nice messages for me so I can read them and be happy.

I'll be back soon enough!

Please don't delete my account!

UPDATE

Postby Marius the Black on Thu Apr 17, 2003 4:27 am

The foggy haze of the realm of the dead is so thin, it's like I'm only limited to touching the world, not communicating. Just like a ghost, really. How interesting.

I've got a half-way decent connection (but no UO cd) so I can traipse around the forums and what-not. Since the library idea is on hold, I'm thinking about working on the Arcane Sanctuary one, which hopefully isn't out of the picture. I was hoping that some ideas I will propose (under the Arcane Sanctuary topic) will be warmly welcomed (and aptly criticised .. just to refine them!) but more on that in the topic.

Not as many well-wishes as I would have hoped! :) But I'm sure plenty of people ment well. :|

If you have a gnutella client (morpheus, bearshare, limewire, Gnucleus) there is a file floating around called "UO_LBR.iso" you can use to create a cd with.
although its prolly not legal and not my fault!
