I'm crashing in the same area over and over again and I can't log back in successfully until my character dies. This hasn't happened before. Is there a logical explanation for this or do the gods dislike me?

No, my character is stuck in the ice fiend lair in the ice dungeon. And to update, my character is indeed dead and I still can't log in, it just keeps crashing. Ive already lost everything to decay(probably) but you people might find some stuff on the fiends that you can use like regs or whatnot and if you find my stuff, drop in l&f, trash it, keep it, do whatever you want with it.

My guess would be the desktop settings in your shard folder. In the UO folder in programs, there is a 'Desktop' folder, with your login name under it. Go to the login name you use here, then to the shard name, then to the character name you use. You may want to make a backup of the folder first, if there are macros and stuff you want to keep. In that folder is the desktop.uos file. Try deleting that file first, then if that doesn't work, try deleting the entire folder. Hope that helps!
