I found it in the trash at the bank. Who throws away quest notes? Is X coming back or did someone decide he was gone long enough to toss the notes?
(note: reagents was spelled wrong in the note so I typed it that way)

Quest items can be "trashed" at the library donations box in Britain, where they will be happilly put on display, for I doubt X puts his "master plans" in the trash can, though I've been known to have my fish and chips in my master plans.

what if he put that there for someone to find it for a reason? he was clearly adressing us in the note....

I was thinking, maybe its something someone new found, the new players tend to trash all kinds of stuff, as I have said time and again I keep finding locked chests, unidentified magic items, and all manner of items in the trash, all of which im assuming newer players are getting rid of instead of finding out what their about or how to make money on them themselves!

I fail to see how it is a trap. Xandebaric needs the reagents and of course must assure that the Heroes are irrevocably doomed (it's a 'United Villians of the Fantasy Genre Union' thing; don't ask ) in every note, just to assure the message gets across. There's nothing to suggest a 'trap', because that would more be along the lines of "Don't come to the Old Praetorian Ruins next week, because I WON'T be uncovering the Tome of Dastardly Doom there at all!"

Of course, we evil union types are known to stick together, so maybe it IS a trap, and maybe I'm just covering for my buddy X.. you never know!

Ummm..it kinda disturbs me of how this was brought to our attentions. So, Wolfie is 'a trash picker'? *snicker* Just kidding..(couldn't resist). It's ok, Azalin4savior admitted he does it too..hehe.

Liselle, if you want to get all meta-gaming on it and really figure out what it is, I'd say it's just a reminder about the X quest that's been going on for a long time now. That's it's addressed to the players means very little.

Bruno, the Library is in Britain, and the General Forum with the "The Library is Now Open" thread will give you precise and exact details to where the library is.

Be sure to make note of the fact it isn't *called* the Library yet, via the signpost, and I think the sign currently says "Little Brit Shop" or something to that effect. But the door is open, and you're certainly welcome to go inside.
