virtue (karma gain)

Postby Loki D'Streea on Tue Aug 12, 2003 10:46 pm

since I've created a necromancer type char, I've noticed, there is no real way of lowerin ones virtue except for killing npc's. Now mind you this works ok but I was wonderin if there was aa way to put a virtue lock in place.

Of course there's a way.

Oh, you wanted something a bit more detailed than that? :P

First I'd have to ask if you're asking this in terms of being a player on WoD, or if you're playing around with your own shard. I don't believe you've ever posted on the scripting forum, and from the sound of your question, this may belong in the Tech forum, if you're asking for the functionality for WoD. If so, then my answer would probably be no, because necromancy isn't automatically an evil profession in the WoD mythos. Its quite possible to be a necromancer and still be a good person, as long as you behave well.

If you're asking in terms of scripting, then look in the file /pkg/character/virtue/virtue.inc, in the AwardVirtue function.
