The Fun Starts Here

Since nobody else seems to be writing about the quest we had earlier today, I can try to write something.

I was doing chests in Wind with Chanx Xandermaya, when we came upon this strange bag. It said "The Fun Starts Here" and contained a book and a map. We read the book and it said to gather a group to find the hidden treasure marked in the map. We then went to Britain bank and started asking people to join us. I changed to Darathor, my VG, and then joined the people outside bank. There was Chanx, Ravek Kelldath, Ehran, Ruben, Thomas and couple others. I am terribly sorry for not remembering your names  . If someone who was on the quest too could write all the names who were there, I would appreciate it.

After buffing, we went to Britain Swamps, where the first chest was buried. After short search, we found the buried treasury and prepared to face what ever evil would come there. But the monsters guarding the chest were not that hard and we disposed of them quickly. Then one sailor came to speak with us, saying that his master had sent him to tell us that every chest contains a map to next chest and that the next chest wouldn't be so easy. After the sailor had gone away we decoded the next map and it lead us to Northern Lands, more accurately in the middle of northern base of the Praetorians.

We arrived at the Shrine Of Sacrifice and Chanx started to lead us, thus having the map. We met little resistance from the Praetorians but made it to the chest with no casualties. Because the sailor had told that this chest would be bit harder than the other one we were bit nervous what would come out of it but opened it never the less. If I remember right, lots of praetorians came out of it as well as Purple Wisp. This one was quite exciting to deal with, hiting harder than normal wisp and doing some serious damage with its spells. It seemed to have some kind of permareflect on or it just made magic reflect spell all the time. At least Chanx told me that every time he tried to cast spell on it, it striked back to him. But lucky me, I didn't have worry such since my mace worked on it as it should. After dealing with the praets and the wisp, we went to next location that was Orc Fort near Cove.

Luckily someone had rune near the fort so we didn't have to walk from Cove. The was quite warm welcome waiting for us: dragon defenders, master mages, marksmen and all the other orcs. We fought bravely and managed to kill all the orcs standing on our way. The treasure was buried near the orcs docks and there we met another purple wisp. Since there wasn't much other enemies, we killed it fairly easy. Then we followed the map to the next treasure, buried deep behind Praetorian Main Fortress, near the city of Trinsic.

We were not sure how much praets there were waiting for us so we decided to play it safe and began our journey from the bank of Trinsic. The beginning looked safe, there were no praets in the city and so we went forward. But almost immediately we left the city, we came upon first few normal Praetorians and then the closer we went the more there came. By the time we got to the fortress it was full of Praetorian, including Praetorian Priestess and more. We dug up the treasure even that there were couple of Praetorian still around us and that was a mistake. By the hand of some evil god or unlucky blow of wind, it opened releasing all the Praetorians guarding it and another Purple Wisp. I quickly yelled my battle cry and challenged the wisp. But even with my trusted hencmen healing me, I couldn't take the wisp's magic and beating so I fell. The world went grey and though the mist I could notice the wisp attacking others. Lucky for me, some kind soul ressed me and I could join the battle, or what was left of it. After that terrible battle we looked at the last map and it said Buccaneers Den.

At that time we took a took a little time to rest a bit and few players started to sail towards Buccaneers Den. I don't know how I got there, where those the players who opened a gate there or who but we made there never the less. While buffing I searched the ground for any traces of the enemies waiting us here and I surely found them. Coven sisters, Elite Pirate Guard (or something), pirate brutes and more. At one point some of our group went to rescue another trapped in a dungeon and when they returned we continued to the chest. After defeating the guardians of the chest we found something very nice. It was the very first fountain deed ever in our lands and we returned to the bank hearts filled with joy.

At the bank we split the loot as normally. We got some money and couple of magics but nothing special. I think power bow and silver sword of maiming were the best, not that they wouldn't be good though. Then we started thinking what to do with the fountain deed. Ehran came upon idea that we should give the deed to the one that made us to go all the to top 20 to get the deeds and who would love it most :D . So, as no one was against it, we decided to give The Very First Fountain Deed Of WoD to the person who really deserves it, Atei. Congratulations for the deed and hopefully I can come some time to look at it :D.

Well that was about it and I would really appreciate if someone could write the names of all participated to this quest and everything I forgot to mention.

Angelica and Thomas were there and were indeed responsible for my joining near the Pret main fort. The side trip was into Destard. Jim Greenfire and i popped down to little buc's den and sailed his boat over to the main island and then gated everyone else in.

From EVERY member of the Atei Clan: many, many thanks to the kind folks who found and gave Aellius the very first fountain deed. The fountain is at the home of the soon to be wedded Sholeh Iruli and Covenant Atei. I mentioned to Ehran when he gave me the deed what a TRULY AWFUL real-life weekend this had been, and the generosity and kindness that was expressed with this gesture raised my spirits 100-fold.

Again and again I see the reasons that I can never imagine leaving the World of Dreams.

From all of us, again, thanks.
