I just heard about a chatting roleplaying game called Furcadia from one of my friends. It is a free downloadable game that can be gotten from http://www.furcadia.com. I haven't gotten to play it yet but the basis is that you are in a world that has various worlds created by users called "Dreams". You can create your own dream as well. It is more a chat engine more than anything but special events can happen, duels can be done PvP (it isn't done much), and it has got Family areas and R-rated areas for adults.

Yeah, Furcadia has been around quite a few years. I remember playing it some years ago. I tried it recently, and it has changed a lot, doesn't appeal much to me anymore though, but it was great fun. The "dream" thing is quite sophisticated, with it's own scripting language and everything. :)

Wow, it must be getting popular. I've had characters on it since before I started playing UO (97-ish). I actually found it by looking for free online games because my parents wouldn't play for an OSI account. :D

I'm still around and about on it, though not as much as I used to be. Look out for 'Higa' (whisper /higa -text-) and I'll show you around. :)
