I have a fancy dress +4 tactics and fire resistance, several have told me I cant mana stone it into anything, but the dress takes the same slot as a robe, why cant I mana stone it into a robe of some sort? Any tell me if this is possible or not? Thanks.

You can only mana stone to exeptional items (and a few selected other items) as we can not make exeptional clothing you can not stone it to a robe.

The best you can do is stone it to a piece of chest/legging armour and then use bobby bugfixer to make it to a clothing item in that slot.

Not sure if it's possible here, but you also might want to try a *looted* death shroud for your mana stoning recipient- since these items aren't craftable, as those few other selected items aren't, it just may work for you.

*sighs* I just used this idea and it didn't work. +8 fancy dress of invocation into studded tunic and bobby won't touch it.

It may need to be female for him to take it (sometimes bobby is a bit strange like that), a tailor should be able to gender change it for you.

Because Bobby is a man, of course he will do more with the female leather.
