quests for the not so good

I have noticed that ever quest's main objective is for the greater good of the people of the lands. Now, where do people who do not follow a righteous path fit in? It doesn't seem right when an evil roleplayed character is fighting alongside those who vow their lives for peace and order. I just think there should be some quests where those of us, who do not see the light(so to speak), can participate in.

Evil RPing? what's that? Are there even any inherently evil character types out there? (Besides assassins who are just criminally-proned
)

Brother Lionheart is right for all I can tell.
#1. We don't rp here.
#2. We encourage our players to come together on a constant basis to play nice and fight AGAINST evil together.
#3. We don't need pretend tomfoolery like evil rp when we have trolls causing problems both in Minoc and all over the forums.
No offense meant, of course. It's just that WOD ain't a place for real PVP, good vs. evil, order vs. chaos, etc conflict. If one needs that kind of conflict to enjoy UO, either WOD needs to change, or they do. That is certainly something that could be opened to debate, but I wouldn't hold my breath waiting if I were they.

Well in my opinion you are both wrong. We don't RP here you say? Hmm, interesting. And who said anything about pvp. To my knowledge, you are the first person mention that in this thread.

look at it this way kobayashi the biggest threat to an evil dudes plans are the other evil doers out there. the threat from the assorted bands of heroes and other do gooders is fairly mild compared to what your fellow evils are up to. besides it makes very good cover if you are out there leading the mob hunting for evil. then when your own plans to fruition you will have a valuable advantage as the do gooders mutter amongst themselves about your past "good" deeds.
kinda reminds me of the time i organized and led a lynch mob looking for me all over town. organized a reward for the villain's head and then managed to pocket most of it. generally a very profitable evening for everyone but the poor soul i murdered in the first place to set off the mob.

Actually, we do roleplay here. We just don't roleplay evil. I mean you can if you want to (and there are few players that do), it's just not going to be believable (kinda like roleplaying an elf?
). About the most evil thing you can do here is kill innocent NPCs and/or steal from them. Anything else beyond that would likely get you banned
I don't exactly know what you had in mind when you asked for "evil players" quests. Were you wanting to get together with your "evil" friends and kill all the Brothers at the Abbey?
Well you don't need the help of seer for that. In fact, you wouldn't want to make it a quest because then the rest of us would have to (from a RPing perspective) do something about it. From a fictional standpoint, you and your friends would be taking the place of an evil-mob-invasion attacking the Abbey, and then we would have to go and hunt you down or something (which we cannot do since this isn't a PvP shard). See the dilemma this causes?
RP bad guys?

A wise man once wrote:We just don't roleplay evil.
Exactly. I agree one hundred percent. Who's
roleplaying evil?
I'm actually just
*really* evil.
Excerpt from the Evil Villians' Guidebook, Chapter 5, Page 108:
One must be evil with a certain wholeness and deovtion. To be evil is to laugh manically while building giant weapons, amassing great armies and trying to hit on the beautiful heroines before they beat the life out of you. It's a tough job, and indeed, sometimes an ugly job (you don't know WHAT you have to do to get the Ogres to fight for you), but it's fulfilling. Once you conquer that nation, empire, kingdom, planet or universe, your place amongst the Legendary Heroes of the Past is assured! In all things, remember that you cannot be evil enough. Embrace your evil. And always, ALWAYS laugh like a madman where it is dramatcially appropriate.
Mwahahahahahahahhaaha!

Give me some time and I'll come up with a few ideas. In the meantime, to set the record straight, I never said I was evil, but never said I was good either. I'm neutral for the time being.

That leaves two choices then:
1. Marry one, have the other as a lover
2. Stay single and see both

lol, I'm not *quite* so wild irl (just with one man), but since its just an rp game, why not let your char have a lot of fun?
I played some rp shards where my char had several boyfriends and it was a lot of fun. On the shards where I let her get married, things got boring after a little while (until the affairs started!).
