For those WoDians who live anywhere between Greenland and the Falkland Islands, our Chess Tournament will be held this Saturday, May 17th, at Blaze and Raybell's place in Brit (UOAM coordinates are 1546, 1752). This includes the USA, Canada, Mexico, Central and South America, the Caribbean etc. The starting time will be 2pm EST (for reference sake, it is now around 4:20pm EST on Monday, May 12th).

Between Zed's Tournament and this one, we hope to end up with 2 "finalists" from the "Americas" tournament and then 2 from the "Euro-Asia" tournament. These "Final Four" combatants will duke it out (date and place to be determined) to see who is the WoD Chess Champion!

Entry fee is $5,000 gold pieces.

The overall first place Chess Champion will win 70% of the total pool, second place gets 20%, third place gets 10%.

Please plan on being at Blaze and Raybell's place (1546,1752) this Saturday at 2pm EST if you want to participate.

Awww dang wont be able to make it.I have a baseball tournment and wont be home in time.

that's an ungodly hour to be up and thinking at but i will certainly try to be there.

So much for THAT idea. I sure hope Zed's tournament has some players...
