I am wondering just who it was that said too many players online or participating in a quest is a bad thing? Or is this simply your distorted idea of an oppinion?

I believe Drocket once before several months ago simply mentioned that we cannot broadcast when a quest is being held due to the possibility of too many players being on and participating on some quests. "That would be a huge lag-fest" Those were his words.
So....probably just too many people on during what I would think is a big or long quest can or may cause bad lag. If you scroll back in this quest forum, you will see the posting in "Upcoming Quests". Probably about 25 posts ago.

it depends on the quest i guess. have been on quests with 4 people and quests with 30. the smaller groups tend to work better in my experience just because it's easier to follow whats going on.
the lag problem is somewhat subjective though i have noticed that some people have major problems with the number of big wing flappers like demons and dragons on screen during a big quest. my personal complaint about that is the fact the wings cover many of the mobs and make them difficult to target for us archers.
another point about large quests is that the odds of someone being silly enough to run madly about drawing down monsters upon the party in wholesale lots seems to go up much faster than the total number of people in the party does.
