Bascom stopped by the Bank this evening with a map that he feared he was too old to quest after. A band of intrepid fighters and mages including Angelica, Blaze, Ciara, Edison, Lyllwen, Quzar, Rime, Rocs, Shadowstone, Willow Star ( :D ) and Pau set out to discover the Treasure.

We began by gating to Cove Orc Fort where we cleaned house in no time. We found the treasure chest in the fort and prepared for whatever creatures defended its secrets. Upon opening the chest, however, all we found was another map, this one on Buc's Den.

We traveled there and fought our way across that accursed place to the designated spot. (We met up with many of Haraseem's followers on Buc's Den, by the way.) Again we steeled ourselves for the inevitable guardians but again, there was only another map. This one led to the Praet Fort so off we went.

The "average" Praets awaited us along with some "old friends"--Praet snipers. The going was treacherous but we found the spot and popped the chest. This map led to the Shabooli Fort.

Upon arrival, we prepared for the upcoming battle, but apparently some of the group had never fought the sneaky Shaboolis before. They rushed in ahead of us. The inhabitants were none too happy, to say the least.

We finally fought our way through the 'Boolis to what was the final chest. Once opened it included many "unfriendly" guardians, including ancient dragons and Titans. Several of us fell in the titanic battle, but we defeated that unholy band to claim the treasure.

I can't recall all of the items but they included a portrait of Queen Lissar, a golden dagger, an indestructable potion of bubbles and a Good Luck Welcome Mat.

We returned to civilization to split the Treasure and share our tale.

Those of you who won items I missed, please include them below.

Thanks for a fun quick quest!

Old Boscum had the right idea when he said it would be too hard for him. It was a very dangerous quest. The chaos of so many people was somewhat balanced by the collective power of so many people, but we lost many lives as Haraseemers, Praetorians and Shaboolies invaded our ranks. The guardians of the final chest seemed to take advantage of this, coming out on their own when we were all spread about fighting Shaboolis. I have to say it was great fun, but I'm sorry for all those who died.

Some other items are my golden wire, a legendary halberd mounted decoratively and a special trophy: the mounted head of the very first of all Orc Kings! Orcs lose face for all time when this is mounted in a Britanian tower.
