Joram, you have got to be the most negative person I have ever had the pleasure of conversing with. Yeah they were my words, but you chose to see them in a different light than what they were meant. Others will see it different than you.

I could sit here all day and quote the stuff you say and put bold all over certain words and make you look like a total a$$hole too, but I'm not that kind of person. I don't pick apart peoples posts just to fine the most negative stuff I can. Do you just sit around waiting for a post that you can destroy? Is that how you get your jollies?

I've stopped saying that the oldbies were bastiches a long time ago. I don't group them into one category. Juat like the newbies, midbies, tweenbies, etc . . the oldbies have good and bad elements.

Joram the objective look at the crap I'm saying has always stayed the same. Half of it is to see how far I can push yours and others buttons when all they do is bring the hostility, or did you miss that part? I'm sorry that you had to be the example becaue MOST of the time I do enjoy reading what you and others have to say and I see your points.

It's just funny when you go looking for a fight, making a fight when there wasn't one there. It has happened on many occasions, not just with me. Why do you think I kept from posting on the boards for the past month or so? I was observing and it just turned out to be sad.

So basically Joram, quit YOUR bitching, moaning, whining, complaining and tearing apart peoples posts looking for the negative. Start enjoying life from the positive side. You will live longer.

Now for God's sake man leave it be. I'm willing. No one wants to read "our crap" anymore.

Orion i really think you are overstating the unity of the oldbies. if you go back through the forums you will find we have disagreed with each other from time to time. you will also find it very very rare for oldbies to slag each other. we trust that when someone puts forward an idea their intent is to make things better. we also tend to like our changes to be incremental as they are less likely to mess up things if they don't work out.
You will find that oldbies trust each other's character and competence in game play.

i would be curious Orion to know who you consider the "bad elements" among the oldbies are?

Orion Michaels wrote:Also I say again, your post sounds like whining about our whining.

Well, yeah. It was intentional. I was doing it on purpose to show a point. It's called over exaggerating to put an emphasis.

ANYTHING can be taken as whining if taken out of context, like most of my posts here are.

I have noticed that large majority of things that you say are taken out of context. Here's an idea. Say what you mean the first time. Then stick by it.

Ehran, I'd rather not say. Just like I wouldn't point out who I think is the bad element in any of the other groups. And I agree with your post before that one, I have seen it.

I try to put forth good arguements/good explanations, but Joram and Tristan won't let me. They pick out something that sound slike it could be negative and tell everyone what "I really mean" when they have no frickin' idea what I mean because they aren't typing my posts. I'm only human guys.

(Ehran this is where my response to you ends and I continue on.)

Doesn't feel good, does it guys? Having someone badger every post you make.

So basically it's like this. I will be the bigger man and walk away. Joram and Tristan can say all they want about me and spread it around to everyone they know. Just like back in grade and high school, I will try and avoid the bullies and converse with only the people that want to have civil conversations instead of the people making accusatory statements about things that weren't there.

It'll be fun to see what responses this gets. Let's see, what will there be as responses to this post?

"You only think you're being badgered."
"quit your whining"
"you're wrong I'm right"
"why do you play here"

I'll just leave with this, and yes it works for me too: "Whenever you point a finger there are three pointing back at you."

*WILL NOT respond anymore to this thread. It has gotten out of hand and it never had to and I have better things to do with my time*

That means he doesn't know, and just made a claim that makes him sleep better at night.

Once again, other people won't let me. Ya really need to make your own choices there. Tristan and Joram just merely point out the obvious, which you construe into something else so you don't look like a hypocrite.

That's funny I don't recall doing any butt raiding in game. Though I do think you need to let it go. We're here to have fun. None of us are crying about the changes made here, we're talking about the changes azzo wanted. No one is running Azzo into the groud, again it's just open talking. Some of us think its a bad idea and others think its a good one.

Orion, there is no other way to see them. That's my point. You may not realize it because they came from you but it's obvious enough to the objective observer. "Unplayble" means not being able to play, it doesn't get any more straightfoward than that. Your estimation that Drocket has made your characters unplayable is a gross exaggeration, and THAT is what I reacted against.
Like I said, I only got involved because you started making this whole issue sound like it was the end of the world. Just go back and check where exactly my first post was made.

I don't pick apart peoples posts just to fine the most negative stuff I can. Do you just sit around waiting for a post that you can destroy? Is that how you get your jollies?

How else would you know what I'm replying to if I don't quote what you said? I'm not destroying anything you said. I'm quoting it straight off the horse's mouth. You claimed your characters were "unplayable," didn't you? I didn't make that up. I didn't take it out of context either. THAT'S WHAT YOU SAID. I couldn't possible add or substract anything from that. I dare you to prove to me how claiming Drocket has utterly ruined your characters is not an overtly negative exaggeration? You say there's a positive way to look at your fatalistic statements? Well tell me how.

I mean just look at what you did a few posts ago when you supposedly were "interpreting" your own words in a positive light. You deliberately left out the "absolutely worthless" and "virtually impossible" expressions of your original post. Of course you HAD to do that otherwise your so-called "positive" interpretation wouldn't have looked positive at all.

Half of it is to see how far I can push yours and others buttons when all they do is bring the hostility, or did you miss that part?

Oh please, so you're saying you were playing drama-queen for the sake of playing one? Cmon man, I don't think even you believe that. Like I said, it's ok if you want to whine. It's ok if you don't like the changes. Go ahead, vent, no one's stopping you. Just don't be all surprised if we get a little ticked off when your exaggerations are beginning to get a little too far-fetched.

It's just funny when you go looking for a fight, making a fight when there wasn't one there.

Orion, go back an look at my first post of this thread. What was I reacting to? Can you honestly say I was picking a fight or merely speaking out against something I considered to be a preposterous whine(and totaly unfair to Drocket)? You're not the only one that's not happy with the recent changes. Yet not everyone is claiming the game is unplayable for them.

So basically Joram, quit YOUR bitching, moaning, whining, complaining and tearing apart peoples posts looking for the negative.

I didn't have to look for the negative. The negative just came jumping out at me when your whining became a little too much for me. A lot of people expressed their disliked of the recent changes. Yet here we are talking just about you. Don't you think that's just a little strange if you're so innocent?

Start enjoying life from the positive side. You will live longer.

Funny, that's what I said you to you. I love it when people take my words and try to claim them as their own. Nevertheless, you're absolutely correct. It pays to have a positive attitude. I say we all think more positive about any future changes Drocket makes and I would please ask of you don't come out and say stuff like my characters are "unplayable" and "absolutely worthless." That's just not positive speak. It's inherently negative.

Now for God's sake man leave it be. I'm willing. No one wants to read "our crap" anymore.

I hope I'm not forcing you to stay. I didn't realize I held that much power over you. I'll try to be more responsible with the things I make you do.

Hmmmm, Think Aislin's son. That whole scenario. Definitely an attack of being an ass.

And if you don't remember it there would be nothing to let go, would there. You remember it. You just didn't like the response it got from those around you.

If people like you would quit your mindless prodding then I wouldn't be.

Shadowstone. I don't know who you are. I've never met you. But aparantly you want to be part of the gang up. That's fine, if you feel like a better human being for it.

Like I said, you're very subtle but I can still see right through you.
...we're asking you to tone down your whining, because whining has never helped any.

These were my favorite lines in most of the thread although there have been some good ones.

RaRRR!! Anger, Whining, Complaining, DEFENSE, ATTACK, RETREAT, FIRE, FLOOD, FLEE!!! Absolutely exhilarating!

I have thoroughly enjoyed following things here. Makes me realize how stupid I look sometimes when I get caught up arguing over trivial things. Please, don't...stop...don't stop!!
