Tailoring request

Postby Celeste Kendreyl on Fri May 07, 2004 4:06 am

Would it be possible to get tailoring items not currently available to make "exceptional" changed so that we CAN make them that way? It'd be nice to be able to mana stone that skirt into a kilt, or vice versa or whatever... and only the "armor" made from tailoring is currently available to be "exceptional".

Maybe quality and exception clothing can be added when special order deeds are extended to other crafts?

And all you have to do is mana stone it to a female armor and boby it in to cloths anyway.

That is true as far as it goes, but if you use a benson potion on exeptional clothing you will be guaranteed a skill buff every time, not just the 10% (or whatever the number is) you get a skill buff making armour.

In the past when this has come up Drocket as said something along the lines that exeptional clothing would probably (maybe) come back some day, but it wouldnt just be a matter tailoring skill and cloth, that perhaps it would require some sort of hunting loot as part of the process. (Or something along those lines)

I've spent quite a bit of time thinking about different options for making exceptional clothing (beyond the rather boring-seeming 'just upgrade them' method), but I really don't think its possible to do much anything along those lines that would actually let tailors be tailors. So, most likely, exceptional clothing will happen when I make some upgrades to tailoring similar to the recent changes to blacksmithy, probably within the next couple of weeks.
