I do not play on your shard, but constantly bother Drocket on the scarping forums. (Well at least in the last few days.)

Nevertheless, while browsing the boards I came across this post and just want to wish my best to Ciara. I hope she gets well soon.

I am sorry and hope you get better in the near future. Just keep fighting and you should do fine.

(Of course the trolls would probably make an appearance since they would be none too happy with her return.) ;)

Still in our prayers Ciara and Rod! Hope you are doing well. Hope to hear some more news soon.

Update:

Overall the past few days have been about the same. There have been some improvements and some setbacks but she is slowly whooping this thing.

The other day her temperature stopped dropping at about 101.2 so they were forced to change her Anti-Biotics, she didn't like that very much and decided to have a mild allergic reaction.

The past few days have however seen continuous improvement with the Pneumonia. She still has a ways to go yet but so far the Pneumonia has gotten at least a little better each day. So the Anti-Biotics are doing their job it's just taking time.

Her blood pressure seems to finally be rising albeit very slowly and considering the situation she's in good spirits. Her roomate tells her each day how much we all love and miss her and want her back home.

As always thank you all for your prayers, well wishes, and thoughts.

Roderick, Ciara, and Family

I spent some time today talking to her sister, and it is no wonder we like her so much considering how her family is. Rumor has it even her dad likes Roderick...lol It was funny that she said C was lucky to have friends like us, I think we are lucky to have her myself. Gramps keeps mentioning that all she needs is a bottle of his patented snake oil, it'll run any infection outa there no problem. Of course we may have to do a total blood transfusion to remove the snake oil.... Keep prayin folks, he is listenin.

I have also had chances to speak with quite a few of her family members since she was hospitalized and can see why she is so darned sweet. They all seem the same way.

Ditto, we are definatly the lucky ones for knowing her and being able to spend time around her. I know she has made me a better person. Just by being herself. :)

Yes, the powers that be are certainly listening. Finally. But, she still needs alot of praying done. So does anyone who loves her. This has got to be the worst thing for a family to go through. All the waiting and worrying yourself sick takes it's toll on them too. Pray that they can stay strong enough to get through this without becoming ill themselves.
And again Rod, Thanks for taking the time to update us. And thanks to all her family members who have been so sweet and kept answering my questions nightly.

Yes, thank you Rod. I check here daily for any new updates. Please tell Ciara that we miss her terribly and she has to get well!!! Her goodness, her intelligence, her compassion, and her strength helped us all and we are diminished by their absence. I am being **almost** completely selfish when I shout to her: "GET WELL PLEASE!!!" ;)

I had the kids say a prayer for Ciara last night
which opened up a whole new can of worms

What is her real name- that I knew.
Where does she live- I told them the bank in Britain on the bench =)

My daughter has asked me about 10 times today if she is better now - she thinks her prayer should have worked by now- "its been a long time!!" she keeps saying. Kids are cute :) I wish it were that easy.

I was explaining everything to my mom today and how helpless I feel and wish I could fix it. Her only response was "She is just a person on the internet. Why are you upset?" I tried to explain, she is not just a person on the Internet. She is a friend- always there when you need her-not that I ask her for a lot- its a security issue- no matter what, you know she is there and you always count on C and Rod. Then I tried to explain the special bonds I have with a lot of people on WoD. The conversation ended with her telling me I need a hobby. I have one-WoD

Thank you Rod for taking the time to update us on Ciara’s progress. Our prayers and thoughts are with you and your family. Don't forget to eat and sleep and take care of yourself in this stressful time. She needs you at your best now- patients and emotionally. Take Care!! Hope to see you both in game soon.

Update:

Ciara still running a slight fever and she's still fighting the infection in her blood stream on top of the pneumonia and pleurisy. However, they were able to increase her pain meds today so she's more comfortable and able to rest more easily. Her blood pressure is slowly going up and she's getting more oxygen into her system now.

All in all it was a good day.

As always thank you for your thoughts and prayers.

Thanks,
Roderick, Ciara and Family.

P.S. Leia your daughter and I have the same mentality as far as this is concerned. NOW isn't fast enough! Thank you for sharing her story it gave me a chuckle.

Thank-you Rod

Good news is what we are all living for right now i think. in order to speed her recovery you may have to make that ultimate sacrifice and promise to take her DANCING. I have it on good authority that this is one of the most potent motivators for the fair sex
Thanks for letting us know how it goes Rod.
