Ever want to harras credit colletion agencies?

Postby Azzo Ranar on Thu Jun 03, 2004 5:23 pm

Well folks these idiots made the mistake of calling my cell phone looking for a Lisa Burdett, I know no such person as I have only had the number for a little over 2 weeks. They keep calling me looking ofr her and each person has assured me the number will be removed from the system. Now there is a laugh as no less than 8 of them from the same company have called me in 2 days. I am being as creative as possible in my relentless calls to these wonderful people who have called and refused to give any information, have called and hung up on me, have called and yelled at me, and have on 3 occasions told me there is no supervisor, not one available, or that I didn't need one and then hung up on me. I am having a great time putting the shoe on the other foot myself with these models of human warmth I just felt it was selfish not to share my new found friends with anyone who might have a few moments to call debt collectors and give them a taste of what they do to people all day long.
The number is 1-800-684-8429, Household Credit Services. Make friends and let em know we care, think of it as spam for collection agencies. Spam the hell out of them.

Azzo what you do is explain that you are Lisa's butler and she is unavailable. they ask where she is tell them she is in Gstaadt switzerland for a skiing vacation and possibly discussing her recent lotto win with her financial advisor. if you can manage a plummy british accent during this it's even better.
This really ought to drive them nuts. specially when you tell them that she was going to pay off the trifling amount however the firm's boorish behaviour has induced her to sue them for emotional damages.

i love this sort of thing. one time when i got a new phone number i got a lot of calls from people looking for the past holder. after giving some of these dolts the same information several times i took to telling them he had died in a tragic woodchipper accident. amazing how many ways a woodchipper can kill a person without actually stuffing him through it.

A few years ago I got a call from MCI trying to sell me their long distance package. I said "we don't have a phone" and he hung up on me. Sort of ironic when a telemarketer hands up on you. (sounds like one of those stories from a jokes page but I actually did it)
