New crafting problem

I was asked by a vendor to make 20 quality ringmail tunics. When I finished making them all, I tried to give him the deed, but he said it wasn't finished. When I looked at it, it said I had finished 0 of them!

I made it with the right material too, so that's not the problem.

on the deed theres a little button to add item to deed you have to click that then select the item

I just tried that, and every time it said "Wrong Material!"

Just to test it out, I made another ringmail tunic w/ all iron ingots (including upgrade). The I made one w/ iron ingots and a different colour for the upgrade. Either wat, it still says "Wrong Material!"

Guess I will just tack my problem onto the end of this thread.

I have done a few of the contract jobs now with no problems, but I ran into one slight bug.

I can't find a way to only make quality items. You can escape out of upgrading an item, but I can't seem to find a way to stop the upgrade after I upgrade it to quality.

Is there someway to stop the upgrade from quality to exceptional that I don't know about?

Thanks

you can only do it one item at a time unfortunately
but if you only place enough ingots aside to upgrade it the one time it will stop at quality

ie. 40 ingots to make item
20 to upgrade to quality
20 to upgrade to exceptional

i am fairly certain its half per upgrade someone correct me if im wrong

Your sure it isnt specifying some specific kind of ingot to use? ie 20 quality bronze ringmail tunics

It didn't specify at all. It just said "20 quality ringmail tunics".

Ok, I was finally able to get another one of these so I could see what the gump looks like. So just to narrow down the possiblilities.

Line 1 is for the item
Line 2 is for the quantity to make
Line 3 is for the matierial it is to be made from, does this indicate iron?

It just says "ringmail tunics." It doesn't say what kind of metal to make it out of, so I assumed it was iron. But I tried the other types, and they didn't work either.

Ok, found another bug guys.

I just got an order to make 10 copper butcher knives.
However, Butcher Knives are made with Tinkering and not Blacksmithing :D

Luckily it only takes 40 Tinkering skill to make, so I am currently buying up my Tinkering :)

The material that the items need to be made from is on line 3 (right below how many of them need to be made.) I took a look at your deed, and it looks like yours requires copper ringmail tunics

Heh. Actually, I guess blacksmiths should be able to make them anyway. I'll add them to the menu, along with any others that seem to be missing.

Could the orders for rarer ingot types be made smaller? Not easy to get 500 azurite ingots.
