Update:
Still good news all around.
Everything seems to be holding at reasonable levels
and her weight is slowly going up, which is good.
In the last two days she's actually gotten to eat some foods. Ice, then orange sherbet, which she quickly told them needed to be lemon. So today she got lemon sherbet and some broth as well. She didn't much care for the Jell-O(TM)(she doesn't like it normally either) but other than that she's doing quite well.
Thanks yet again for all your thoughts, well wishes and prayers.
Roderick, Ciara and Family

What is this sherbert stuff they are feeding her? Is it the twisted hospital version of sherbet?

Natural gellatin comes from the ground up hooves of cows. A little research about Jello (tm) is here
http://www.kraftfoods.com/jello/main.as ... lo_history
If this were a Jello (tm) fansite, I'd be really scared, but since it's Kraft, I suppose it makes sense that they've compiled all of this incredibly life-altering important information
So, the admins DO have time to watch Food Network (tm) afterall?

Just Drocket. I watch HSN 24/7 in hopes of landing a copy of "Misery" signed by Kathy Bates. In Betamax, of course.

It is a big relief that Ciara is no longer in critical condition. Perhaps people were thinking, like me, that its only a matter of time before Ciara is fully recovered and the sooner the better. That would be the cause for jolly mood so please don't be offended. But I guess we need to first continue rooting and praying that she keeps bravely healing.

Update:
Ciara was taken out of the Isolation ward last night and placed into a "Step-Down" ward (sort of like a halfway house) We're now able to see her through glass. In addition many of the excess monitors and misc stuff have been taken away so she isn't surrounded by nearly as many annoying, beeping, buzzing, flashing things. Her diet isn't limited to Jell-O(tm) and Pudding anymore she's now eating full blown yummy meals and in many cases asking for seconds. Lastly she's been getting up and around and out of bed on occasion. She's still a little shaky on her feet but doing amazingly well.
So all the news is great!
