Lucrative Crafting

I've been trying to figure out how to make more gold with a crafting mule than I do with my main, an adept swordsman (primaries: swords, tactics, parry), but so far it's several hours for a profit of 500g or something like that (except for jobbing that's limited per day and merchant quest that's tedious IMO)..
Any good tips?

Depends on what trades the mule has and where your vendor is, I had a vendor in Nujelm for a week and one person came I had about 5 people come a week at my old place.

Cooking can be a decent source of gold but I believe the other crafting skills are pretty limited.

My guess would be tinkering is the most lucrative, but to be truly effective, you have to have high magery as well. Tinkers can make magic jewelry and mana stones (as well as repair just about anything).

Alchemy and inscription are probably the best paying trade skills. Tinkering is also if you have magery as a prime.

Ah yes, alchemy. Except it isn't a trade skill (darnit)!

True, but he's talking about a crafting mule, so he can put it as a prime

Yep, he sure can. Also, since Aellius has become a fighter again, he has found just how useful alchemy and the homon are in battle. (*hint-hint*)
